A LITTLE ABOUT THE MUSIC

    Joshua Polaschek is a multidisciplined visual artist and "Folklahoma Rockabluesy" singer/songwriter/guitar player from Cresco, Iowa now based in Oklahoma City.

    He moved to Oklahoma in 2014 and started cutting his teeth in the local music scene. Josh found his sound in originals and covers with inspiration from the region's songwriters and friends.

    Josh pulls his songs from years of traveling, trials and tribulations, blue-collar jobs, time in the Army, family, good times, bad times, tolerance, and love.

     A polite and powerful grit goes into Polaschek's deep yet dynamic vocals, somewhere between Johnny Cash and Jack Black. His folksy/bluesy unique style of guitar playing sings along with him and tends to paint a new but familiar picture in his listeners minds.
